Nakna is a culmination of a 3-year abstract nude project.
The title translates to "naked" from my native Swedish.
This project started by contemplating what I love most about photography, beginning with form, pose and the human skin. When I think about it, it’s a very simple project—two people coming together with a camera and creating new poses and gestures to make a alternative kind of expression. It’s a study of the body but also of my craft. To trust my intuition and aesthetic, to capture what I’m drawn to, that’s the essence of this project.
